CIVILIAN RIFLE COURSES:

Civilian Sniper 1 (6-8 hours) Introduction to Precision Rifle This course is open to civilians and provides instruction in the following topics: Proper rifle set up and basic zeroing

Basic fundamentals of rifle shooting and scope manipulation

Basic instruction in internal and external ballistics

Obtaining data for the rifle at known distances out to 300 yards (and documenting it properly) Students will have help making sure their rifle is set up properly specifically for THEM prior to any shooting. Everyone will have an opportunity to zero their rifle before gathering data at known distances out to 300 yards. Students will get an overview on external and internal factors that affect shot placement. Data will then be collected and logged at known distances in a controlled setting while good shooting fundamentals are taught and reinforced. Students will then get to participate in a fun competitive course that will allow them to test and apply the new information.

Duration: 6-8 hours (9:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Cost: $175.00 per student

Basic fundamentals of rifle shooting

Scope function and manipulation

Chronograph rifles for muzzle velocity

Basic instruction / review of internal and external ballistics

Data gathering out to 800 yards

Wind reading / correction

Application exercise

Students will get a review on external and internal factors that affect shot placement. Students will then have the opportunity to collect data for the rifle out to 800 yards. They will then apply their new knowledge in fun, competitive atmosphere.

Duration: 6-8 hours (9:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Cost: $175.00 per student

Opportunity to engage moving targets out to 200 yards

​Stabilizing the rifle in unconventional positions

Students will learn how to engage moving targets from 100-200 yards using multiple techniques. They will also have the opportunity to engage fleeting targets of opportunity and engage targets from unconventional positions.

Duration: 6-8 hours (9:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Cost: $175.00 per student
