Flour has a long shelf life but generally goes bad after 3–8 months. White flour may last longest due to its lower fat content, while whole-wheat and gluten-free varieties spoil sooner. You can extend flour's shelf life by sealing it properly or refrigerating or freezing it.

I am proud to be the Executive Sponsor of Horizon BCBSNJ’s Military Affinity Group (MAG). The group adds another important facet of diversity to the Affinity Groups here at Horizon BCBSNJ. I am impressed at how the group’s leadership and membership have worked together to launch a new group and to build a solid foundation for future work. I am also proud to be a part of promoting awareness and understanding of the group’s mission. The group has already taken steps to support the company’s goals and our employees. For example, their efforts to mentor recently hired military veterans is a way of enriching our workforce as these new employees continue to transition from military to civilian life. I believe that these veterans will find these mentoring relationships valuable as they start their careers in the Information Technology division of the company. This is the kind of work that MAG is doing that really makes a difference in our workplace. I look forward to continuing to support the mission and membership of MAG. With such a diverse and talented group of people, I am sure there will be more great stories to share in support of greater diversity and inclusion at Horizon BCBSNJ.
