Does Emily from Make It or Break It come back?

Emily still lives in Las Vegas, helping mom Chloe run her uber-successful national restaurant chain, Boulders. Emily and Damon reunited after the birth of their first child, MyKynnlee, and just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been nearly a decade since the last episode of Make It or Break It blessed our TV screens. Since we’ve finished recapping this special series, we thought it would be fun to take a look at what our favorite characters are likely up to now that their flipping days are behind them.

Enter obvious *none of this is real* disclaimer here.

Payson Keeler

Ah, Payson. Our super Focused™, sometimes boy crazy, can’t-help-but-root-for heroine. Since her time in the gym (and after we assume she won that Olympic gold medal), Payson went on to motivate others by becoming a college coach. For which team you ask? Denver, obviously (with a little help from volunteer assistant coach Sasha Belov). Our girl needed to stay close to home so she could also volunteer her time helping the next generation of Rock gymnasts reach greatness. Her parents, Kim and Mark, retired to Minnesota. If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Becca Keeler, please contact the Boulder Police Department.

Kaylie Cruz

Following the Olympics, Kaylie and her newly rekindled flame, Austin, repurposed one of his five multi-level lake houses into an eating disorder treatment center. Though their romance didn’t last, the pair have remained friends, business partners and occasional co-commentators for ESPN. Kaylie, who edged out Genji Cho for all around gold at the 2012 Olympics, released a moderately successful single, “Degree of Difficulty” that peaked at No. 8 on the Adult Contemporary music charts in 2013. More recently, Kaylie was the runner-up on season 2 of “The Masked Singer” in which she competed as “Rock.”

Lauren Tanner

Since winning team gold and an individual silver on beam at the 2012 games, Lauren has parlayed her Olympic success into pop culture superstardom by joining the cast of Bravo’s hit series “The Real Housewives of Boulder.” When not busy filming RHOB, she and husband Jake are board members of the American Olympic Training Center and have numerous replicas of Otis incorporated throughout their extensive grounds (including an impressive water feature on the south lawn). Lauren’s father, Steve Tanner, was disbarred due to his role in a gymnastics-based Ponzi scheme. He’s currently single and lives in a tiny house on Lauren’s estate.

Emily still lives in Las Vegas, helping mom Chloe run her uber-successful national restaurant chain, Boulders. Emily and Damon reunited after the birth of their first child, MyKynnlee, and just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. An older and more confident Emily recently decided she wasn’t quite finished with elite gymnastics and is training in earnest for the 2020 Olympics.

Jordan Randall

Unlike her Olympic teammates, Jordan chose to retain her amateur status and earned a gymnastics scholarship to the University of Michigan. After her record-breaking collegiate career, she served as volunteer assistant coach and choreographer for the Wolverines while earning her J.D. at the university’s prestigious law school.

Wendy Capshaw

Wendy has understandably remained under-the-radar since her dismissal from the U.S. national team and lifetime ban from the NGO. As of 2018, she was working as a pharmaceuticals rep in Des Moines, but her true goal is to become a #bossbabe selling Isagenix smoothies.

Sasha Belov

Our favorite fearless leader couldn’t bear to be away from the coaching world for too long. Needing a change from the elite world, Sasha followed Payson’s lead and ended up coaching at the University of Denver. He reunites with Marty for beers once a month, where they catch up over old memories and polish their medals.

Summer Van Horne

Summer is still managing The Rock and waiting for The One. She recently joined Christian Mingle and is currently overwhelmed by the amount of Matthews, Marks, Lukes and Johns to choose from.

Kelly Parker

After Kelly Parker saw the light, quit gymnastics and got emancipated from Abby Lee Miller her mother, she pursued her degree in psychology and graduated with honors from Stanford. She went on to start her own YouTube channel, where she was able to channel her years of media training into fame as an influencer.

Ellen Beals

She died.
