The last bit of light given off by the sun right before it disappeared would take 8 minutes and 19 seconds to reach us, and the darkness that comes right after the last bit of light would also take 8 minutes and 19 seconds to reach us. We on earth would not see the sun disappear from the sky until 8 minutes and 19 seconds after it had vanished.

I actually found out this bird from my younger brother who loves all kinds of different animals. He told me that this falcon can dive up to 200 mph and I didn't believe him. So I looked it up, and sure enough it can! These birds fly up to 15,500 miles each year! Thats just outstanding how far and how fast it can travel. The article says that they hunt from above and once they find their prey, they descend into their lightning speed. I am not sure any animal could escape from it once it has its prey in sight. Let me know what you think and if you can find some sort of bird that travels faster than this one!
