A study has revealed the hardest video game of 2022 is Immortality, ranking slightly higher than hit game Elden Ring. Elden Ring recently won the coveted Game of the Year at the Game Awards 2022. The game, which was partly written by George R. R. Martin, can be daunting to players due to it's difficulty, but research from FindMyCasino has revealed that it is not the hardest game released this year. Immortality, which won Best Narrative at the Game Awards, was found to have more cheat code views per player than Elden Ring, meaning it was ranked as the most difficult game. However, Elden Ring won out in terms of total number of cheat code views, amassing a huge six million views. Immortality was ranked the most difficult game of 2022, with an average of 0.63 cheat code views per player, with Elden Ring behind with 0.43. Third place, NIER: Automata – The End of Yorha Edition averaged at 0.2 views per player, meaning Elden Ring had over 12 times more than NIER: Automata The End of Yorha. Life through a new lens. However, Elden Ring is a far more popular game, with 15,296,667 people owning the game on Steam, making it the most popular game on the list. This is compared to 32,400 for Immortality and 2,706,667 for NEIR: Automata. The easiest games of those analysed are The Stanley Parable (ultra-deluxe) and Tunic, both with just 0.01 cheat code views per player. This 98% fewer cheat code views than Immortality (0.63 per player) in first place. The experts at Findmycasino.com created a list of 2022’s highest-rated video games using Metacritic, and utilised YouTube views and ownership statistics from Steam in order to establish the games with the most cheat code views per player.
